Preparation For God

How can we prepare before we come to God? What can we do so that we are ready before we come to him? The answer is; nothing. There is nothing that we could possibly do to be prepared or fix ourselves before we come to him. That is quite the opposite of the entire point of coming to God. You will never be ready, you will never be prepared, and you will never be "fixed up". Go to him; allow him to fix you. Let him do all of the hard work in the background while you give him your heart and the time of day. Talk to him about anything and everything. Ask for understanding and peace. I promise that if you run to him, he will give you peace. He will give your heart rest because he knows how hard life can be. It doesn't matter where you are at in life, or what you do on a daily basis. It doesn't matter what sins you have committed or how many times you have done it. Run to him and he will show you freedom. Run to him and he will give you peace. Reach out to him, and he will save you from the depths of the water you are sinking in.
