You have done it again.

You have done it again. You fell into the same sin that you have fallen into hundreds of times. You are a repeated offender with the charge of sinning. These are all things we say to ourselves when we sin. Although these statements are true, they should not be the focus point. We shouldn't focus on the fact that we stumbled, but what caused us to stumble along with how we can prevent another trip in the future. Jesus has died for you. He didn't die to wipe away 1 sin, 100 sins, or even 1,000 sins. He died for them all; no matter what that number may be. With that being said, he also didn't die so that you can keep willingly sinning. He died to bring you peace and mercy even though we are all sinners. "For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again,
but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes" Proverbs 24:16. So you have sinned again; get up, dust your boots off, hold your head high, and stand firm in your faith. Do not let one slip up write your story for the rest of eternity. Understand that you had a slip up, and make a conscious effort to not do it again. Do not think of it as never sinning again; think of it as how much better can you get. Can you stop yourself from committing that sin again today. Can you stand strong in your faith right now.
